JASMINE DRAGON PEARLS 茉莉花

$16.00

Our Jasmine Dragon Pearls are a triumphal celebration of jasmine tea-making. While other teas cut corners by blending dried jasmine buds post-infusion, we keep things traditional to uphold the integrity of one of our favorite teas. Our farmers stay true to the age-old method of layering fresh jasmine blossoms with tender green tea leaves—a care and precision that allows for natural fragrances and flavor nuances to infuse into every pearl.

The result is an unmistakably bold, refreshing tea that subtly captures the essence of quality craftsmanship and nature’s purest ingredients.

TASTING NOTES:

FLORAL

Delicate and fragrant, floral notes suggest blooming blossoms, with hints of jasmine, rose, or wildflowers adding a light, elegant complexity.

A soft and inviting note, sweetness offers a gentle, natural charm, balancing other flavors with a touch of honeyed simplicity.

HERBACEOUS

Lively and green, herbaceous notes mirror fresh herbs like basil, thyme, or mint, lending a refreshing and aromatic quality.

REGION:
FUJIAN, CHINA

Fujian, located on the southeastern coast of China, is one of the country's most famous tea-producing regions, known for its diverse range of high-quality teas such as Tieguanyin, Da Hong Pao, and Jasmine tea. The region's subtropical climate, with mild winters, warm summers, and abundant rainfall, provides ideal growing conditions.

Fujian's mountainous terrain, including the Wuyi Mountains and Anxi County, offers high altitudes with misty conditions that enhance the flavor and aroma of tea leaves. The rich, well-drained soils and balanced climate contribute to the production of teas with complex, layered flavors and distinctive aromas, making Fujian a cornerstone of China's tea heritage.
